Demand. A request for people to do work. Arrives as a resource request with skills, dates and location.
Supply. The people who could do the work: their skills, availability and location.
Match score. ProFinda’s ranking of how well a person fits a request. A blend of skill fit, availability and other configured factors.
Ontology. The structured map of skills and their relationships. See the Understanding the skills ontology course for the full picture.
Utilisation. The share of a person’s available time spent on chargeable work. A lagging indicator; read it alongside pipeline demand.
Bench. People between engagements. Not idle, available.
